Visual Inspection??? I'm very much an LSx newbie and I'm just beginning to collect parts for a build. I'm going to look at a stock LS1 intake complete with TB, injectors and rails (it will probably end up on an truck engine at some point). He's asking $100, which from my limited experience, seems like a fair deal.
Other than obvious physical damage, is there much I can tell about the condition of these parts simply by looking at them?
I'm not sure what year the parts are and I'm not really sure what the differences are over the production years but are there identifiable features that I should look for that make one setup more desirable than another?
