with reading about how some volants fit and lined up to the throttle body i was a little hesitant, but i scooped one up used this weekend, and it fit perfectly. perfect angle to the throttle body compared to soultkr's WS6 volant, and i had no gaps along the frame rail. took a picture of the TB angle for future reference for anyone interested. LTs and a cutout are next.

Same goes for me, Ive owned the dual cone volant on two of my trans ams and they fit great with no modifications needed and they lined up great. I think sometimes when people have fitment issues its due to the car being in a minor wreck and there stuff is slightly tweeked, high mileage and the motor has settled because worn the mounts and bushings, or there car was built at 4:30pm on Friday and the GM workers were ready to get outta there for a beer...
