Default SLP dual dual mod idea

Before I swap my muffler for a single driver side exit for more sound I was thinking about drilling a 1 inch hole in the I pipe before the muffler and a 1 inch hole in the passenger side tail pipe and connecting the two with a piece of pipe . Like a homade Borla. When I had my C-5 some of the Z06 guys did this with the factory Titanium exhaust and it sounded good. Not sure what it will sound like on a f-body . Might be rasp city. Any input or has anyone tried this with a sound clip. My only concern is once I drill the I pipe if its no good then I need a whole new cat back . Muffler swap is not an option at that point.

Uhh, this sounds like an awful idea. You could probably sell your dual/dual for a pretty decent price if you want more sound. Or just put a cutout on it.

Seen that mod quite a few years back. wasnt to popular. But I know what your talking about. I think after doing it. it sounded like a bad exhaust leak. Which it kinda is. If you want more sound swap out to another muffler.
