this may sound stupid..but i cant find anyone to answer it for me....can aftermarkert headers fit up to a stock y pipe??

You can make anything fit, not sure why you would want to do that, pretty much pointless unless u get the Y.

Its like trying to blow an orange down a straw.

Only if they are CARB EO/waiver short tube headers.

Long tube and mid tube headers don't fit with the stock y-pipe... you have to get a y-pipe that goes with the headers... otherwise it's an orange...

thanks guys....i needed to know because what i wanted to get was already at like $800 and i dont wanna spend the extra 130 for the y pipe but i guess i have too...im lookin to get that nasty loudmouth 1...i cant wait!
