Don't try adjusting the gap on Iridium plugs, the center electrode is super fragile and not designed to be tweaked.

Crap back under the car I go then. Just put in Bosch platinums and set the gap to 40 not 60. Autozone said to set to 40 and the car I bought had the sticker missing. Oh well should be easy to come out atleat now.

GM revised the gap from .060 to .040 a few years ago.

Get rid of the Bosch Platinums while you are in there!! Bosch plugs run like complete **** in these engines, they just aren't designed for them.

Get AC Delco Iridiums. You will be much better off, and the gap is pre-set.
