Will any MSD timing retard box work or is there one specific needed for a 99 SS M6. Also what about a two step rev limiter? Will any one work or is a specific kind needed?

I realize this is an old post, but FWIW, Lingelfelter has a LS specific launch controller, two step PNL460105297.It is a plug and play, that connects directly through the coils , no mods. I've not set mine up yet, since I'm in the middle of a cage install.
