LS6 243 sodium filled exhaust valves what year ? I want to buy some LS6 243's to send to Advanced Induction for port work but I want to buy 243's with the sodium filled exhaust valves. I heard they introduced this in 2002 on the ZO6's is that correct ? What year did they stop this on the 243's ? Also if I did find some of these heads how would I know for sure I was buying the correct heads and not just a regular set of 243's ? I just don't want to get ripped off and know for sure what I'm buying is what I want. BTW if anyone has a nice set of these heads let me know. I'm also going to post for a set in the parts wanted section. Thanks for any help guys!

i just did a head swap on my 2005 CTS-V, LS6. The heads I took off are 243s with the sodium filled valves. The heads have 23K miles on them. At 21K miles I installed a set of Patriot Gold dual valve springs w/seals etc. I also have new spare MLS gasket.
