Ive been running mine untuned for almost a year now, with no problems other then my gas mileage suffering. You just wont have all the power you can get out of it this way, but its fine.
Im waiting to get myself a small cam and tune it, but i may just end up getting a DiabloSport Tuner and tune it that way for now. Still debating....

You're fine. I just finished my head/cam/stall/intake build and am driving it enough to get some miles on it before the tune (to heat cycle the valve springs, change oil, and let the valve job seat in).
Granted I did have a tune done from the last cam, but with just bolt-on's, you're good.

Everyone (including Comp Cams) said I had to get a Tune when I put in the 216/220 cam. So, I had it tuned by a well known tuner in the Dallas-Ft Worth area and drove it for several years. Was not satisfied so had Doc at EFI Alchemy flash computer back to stock tune. Guess what????? Car drives better and my gas mileage is back up to 27-28 mpg on Hwy.
