whats this part??

On a 2002 WS6 Trans Am, on the driver side of the intake manifold there is a little part thats got two vacuum ports and a two prong electrical connector. What is this and can I just remove it..?

I removed mine when I removed the AIR system. I can't remember exactly where the lines went to but I remember one got pulled off and the other one needs to be capped off.
