Default Hooker 1 7/8 headers for a 383

I am looking at longtubes for my motor swap.. Right now I have Mac mids and I love them but If I am doing a motor swap might as well do longtubes as well.. I Picked up a set of Flowtech headers a while back but I am having second thoughts on them because of the collector gaskets..

I found a Brand New set of Hooker Super Comps for 363.00 locally and was wonderring if they are worth the money being as they are painted and not stainless or coated? I am on a pretty tight budget as well so please to suggest anything thats over 500.00.. Would you get these longtubes or just keep the macs Which are painted and have been on the car since 2005 or use the Flowtechs and spend the 130.00 for a y pipe or get the Hookers and Y-pipe for 500??
