Exhaust drone, rasp etc......
Ok, I have true duals with an X pipe and 2 LM1's then under the axle and out, on stock manifolds and cats. I'm about to put on pacesetter ceramic LT's, Magnaflow Hi-Flow heavy metal cats, SLP lid, K&N filter, and possibly a P&P TB. These are ALL the mods I will EVER be doing to this car b/c I don't race it, I just want the sound and a little performance if I ever feel like embarrassin some punk teenager who thinks he has something LOL. Anyway, if I am never going to do a cam or anything else will I still get alot of drone and rasp with this setup or should I be ok?? Thanks
Also any sound clips of someone running this kind of setup would be great, I can't find anything on youtube with true dual and dual LM1. Thanks

it will be loud for sure anything with lm1 resonators is,there is a few people that run duals with them , they will buzz in here soon,I know you are against doing a cam but I would for sure do one, maybe just do a 224,I only suggest that because there are a lot of fast cars on the road these days, wouldn't wanna see you get stomped by some punk kid in a 2011 gt lol,if your gonna stay with bolt ons I would look into gears, and a tune. Car will just run better,I will put money on it by the end of summer you will be thinking cam,God bless ya man and good luck with your ride

It will be loud. Get actual mufflers. I would personally swap the LM1's for borla XR1's
As for cam install, pushrods, springs, retainers, timing chain, oil pump, and while your at it put a under drive pulley on as well

THAT is why I won't do a cam. I don't have that kinda money. I already spent to much on the **** I got LOL. I also got polyurethane motor mounts, MSD wires, NKG plugs, Bosch 13111 O2's.

LM1 "mufflers" are pretty much straight pipes with a bulge and logo embossed on them. Lol. At least go with LM2 mufflers if not another brand of bullet mufflers. I would like to do true duals over the axle with Borla XR1 mufflers through my center mount exhaust some time in the future.

I'm drivin mine through the winter with the pacesetters and ory and lm1, its annoying driving it. Sounds great at idle and revving but under load it sounds like a fat person farting underwater, can't wait til spring to change it. Its not exactly the same as your setup but is similar

Lol at first post.. I WON'T EVER do any other mods.... if I ever do a cam...
If I were you I would switch to flow master 1 chambers, imo there isn't a better sounding exhaust than an xpipe with 1 chambers. Plus they flow amazing.
As far as a cam all you need is..
Cam 200-250$
Pushrods-65-110$
Timing chain oil pump- can't remember what these runs used and new, not to expensive though
Springs-125-250$
If you shop around you can have everything needed for a cam swap for under 600-700$. That is including oil anti freeze gaskets etc...
