Default New Engine, Help Please.

Hey guys, its almost time to put my new engine in and I was just hoping for some quick information. I think I have everything I need for the swap but I just want to make sure. I have a whole new engine to put in, and I wanted to reuse as little off the original LS1 as possible. I basically want to reuse the front accessories and anything above the valve covers and intake.

So with keeping that in mind, can you guys give me some lists of parts, sensors, accessories or anything that I might need. ex: knock sensors, oil dipstick & tube, etc.

thanks,
Bouvers.

Oil, antifreeze, power steering fluid, Gasket set. those are a few off the top of my head.

Does the LS1 crank pulley fit on an LS2 crank?

I'v got a good tip for you, something very simple that i overlooked, make sure you pore coolant directly into the block before connecting your radiator hose. If there is no coolant in the block obviously the thermostat will not open. I made this dumb mistake when i installed my LS3, lucky for me i was sitting in the drivers seat and saw the temperature rising and turned the car off.
And yes the LS1 crank pulley will fit on the LS2 crank.
