Default high octane stock internals?

i am taking out the camaro tomorrow to the local drag strip, i was wondering if higher octane would make a difference or if the stock computer wont take it well or what? i dont have a tune on it so i wasnt sure if higher octane would even make a difference. the last time at the track i ran a 13.6 and was hoping to lower that time a little bit.. i was thinking 100 octane would maybe drop a tenth or 2..just wondering what is the fastest it would go being stock..(a4 on 20's) haha

Me personally I think its wasted effort if your car isn't tuned for it.

Higher octane fuel contains the same amount of energy(BTU) as low octane gas. Therefore it doesnt make anymore power. It simply is more resitant to detination.

It may slow you down, becuase its harder to burn, your dynamic timing may change.

Oh danm, well that's good to know, they charge like 10 bucks a gallon for the 100 octane, thanks to everyone for the feedback I'll be saving some cash.
