Aftermarket or Custom Y Pipe
I have short tube headers with Cats. I have to keep them on the car because im in Calif. & Cali has the worst smog laws. 500.00 Fine per missing Cat. I have 2 Catalytic Converters.
What would be the best aftermarket or Custom built Y Pipe for my car ?
That will not Rub or Bang up against the Floor board ?
My car has 130,000 miles. Do i need Poly Motor mounts to prevent the exhaust system from banging the floor ??

The best? Probably a custom Y with mandrel bends to a flowmaster merge. If your car is lowered you can look into an oval section for the drivers side for clearance. It would be pricey, though. I ran a SLP Y for years when I had shorties and cats and liked it. You'll never know if it will bang until after you install it. With 130,000 miles, it wouldn't hurt to replace your motor mounts with poly or solid anyway. Mine had disintegrated by 140,000 miles.
