Default What do I need to delete my cats?

Do I need to get headers and a catless y pipe or is there a catless y pipe that would serve the purpose? Im most likely going to buy headers and a catless y anyways but I just thought id find out exactly what is really needed. The cars in the shop right now so I cant lift it up and look under it.

You'd probably be better off to wait until you decide which headers you want and get a y-pipe to match them. Or get the headers on and let an exhaust place make a custom y-pipe for you. You'll also have to get oxygen sensor simulators (o2 sims) for the back oxygen sensors or get them tuned out.

Rear o2's are already tuned out, and I cant really wait. The drivers cat is clogged up and I need to get my car back on the road. So in other words, I need the headers AND the y pipe to delete the cats, not just the y pipe.

IF your cats are clogged and your desperate, just pull the cat down pipes and gut them. It will sound like ****, but at least you won't be bottlenecking your exhaust with a clogged cat until you can afford long tubes

You can buy a O/R Y pipe, or even Mufflex just makes the cat eliminator down pipes, but they are damn near 275$
