Default Anyone else hate the switch that came with your DMH Cutout?

I like how stealthy it is, but man the rocker sucks! Sometimes I can't get it closed in a hurrry without f-ing with it and getting it just right to close it.

Anyone have this trouble or end up replacing it?

I bought a QTP cut-out. Big ******* silver rocker switch came with it. No way would I install that in my car. I picked out an all black button style rocker from Parts Express to sub in. Much more low key and will hide nicely in the interior.

Yeah the QTP one sucks. I kinda understand about the DMH though. Its a trade off i guess.

Phone, email or write DMH - if they don't hear from folks, they will be unaware that people dislike their included switch. If you want something to change, contact the vendor as well.

Yes.

Maybe I got a bad one. It opens easy, but it's harder for me to get it to make contact to close it. I have to wiggle it just right to shut it... and if there's a highway patrol behind me it's a tense couple of moments.

No issues for me, mine is mounted on the tcs plate, opens and closes with ease, simple upward and downward pressure and it functions great.
