Default looking to add boltons for MPG's to my ls based vehicle.

The vehicle is a 6.0L 2004 GMC YUKON DENALI gets horrible gas mileage, I was looking at doing free mods and basic boltons for better MPG's like the summit CAI and flowmaster catback to get a little better MPG's not to mention a few extra ponies. My real question is later down the road I would like to add a set of lt headers just scared of CEL's does anybody know if they sell O2 sims for these trucks or will these have to be tuned out and will they aid in better MGP's or suck more gas? Also not really into having the truck insanely loud on the outside and I really don't want it loud on the inside. Does anybody have any input on anything in this thread including the negative ones cause there is always a negative in just about every thread? Thanks fellas.

MCC or seafoam, clean air filter, clean MAF, new fuel filter, new plugs, possibly new wires, and a good tune. I'd do the relatively easy and inexpensive stuff first.
