Default Stock exhaust piping?

Anyone know the pipe diameter of the stock Y-pipe on a 1998 Z/28? I'm getting a cutout so I need to know the exact size.

Well the stock y-pipe would be hard to install anything on since majority of it is squashed and ovalized. If your refering to the i-pipe, that is 2 3/4". If so, a 3" cut-out is what your after.
