Default Fuel Rail Question.

On my LS1 I have the stock fuel rail that has that thing that looks like a small pressure regulator between the rails and only one fuel inlet. My question is can you install a fuel pressure regulator before the rails so that you can run a return line to the tank or will the stock rails and it's regulator thing and a new regulator not work?

On a stock returnless LS1 fuel rail, the regulator is called a pulse dampener. You can indeed install an "external" fuel pressure regulator and leave the stock returnless rail.
