which Y pipe for my new headers!?
Just picked up a set of the Edelbrock Victor Race Series headers for my 1999 trans am. Edelbrock no longer has a y pipe to offer to go with the headers so now im looking for anyone who may know of a good y pipe tht could match up with these headers. Trying to stay cheap with decent quality
heres the headers with slip fit

thanks!

yeah thats what I was looking at, I know TSP is an awesome product but their catted Y is pretty damn expensive( as are all catted Y's)
Think it would be a huge pain in *** if i got the TSP ORY and added some thunderbolt cats?...
Also the worry about a Y pipe is the collectors on headers are 3.5" and i dont think anyone makes 3.5 down to 3" y pipes so im wondering what to do there

BUT, i have heard a lot of good things about these headers with exception of a few people that had fitment issues with the steering linkages...but that was only a few out of many i talked to.
Once I have everything I will defiantly have pics/vids of the install process and final results

PS: I dont think the headers will be this price for long or if ever again so if your thinking about it, might wanna just jump on them now....worst case scenario is you dont like them and turn round and sell them for closer to the OG price and make some extra $$ just my .02 to you

Yea I'm about to order a pair. I just need to figure out what Y-pipe to get also... Btw I heard they're on this 75% sale because they aren't going to carry headers anymore idk if it's true but thats what I heard.

All in all $300 headers+$130 Y pipe+$70 for 2 cats+$30 for 3.5"--3" reducers
= a pretty kick *** $530 setup

Is the TSP ORY going to fit on the headers since they have a 3.5" collector?? This is whats stumping me because I cant find anyone that makes a 3.5" Ypipe that merges to 3"

The only down side is it's aluminumized steel.
If you want SS, then get a pair of Stainless Works tubing transitions.

Picked up a set of these as well, only reason didn't get the ceramic is I will be cutting off and patching up those damn emissions tubes.
Will either make my own mandrel bent 3.5in y-pipe into 4in dumped muffler or most like just run two 3.5in mufflers off the collectors.
