Default Sudden power steering fluid leak

The car has been stored for about 3 months now. It has been temperature controlled to about 60 degrees, and has not been started since storing it. Yesterday, I noticed a 3"x3" 'spot' (not so much of a puddle) and it's coming from the PS return line (bottom right of reservoir). I cleaned up the spot and the next day- another spot about the same size.

I was curious as to why this suddenly happened, and the car has not been ran in quite a while. It was not dripping at all before then. Any ideas?

just because a car isnt driven does not mean corrosion cant act on it. some fluid probably got spilled on a line and speed up the process. i had a pinhole leak in my power steering high pressure line that i didnt catch in time and the fluid destroyed my altenator.

I don't think the line had anything spilled on it prior. There are no other leaks. What else could have 'corroded' a rubber hose?

It is leaking at the top of the hose where the reservoir and hose meet. The clamp holding the hose on can't be tightened. Its a low pressure line. The car has 83k miles.

Could be a crack in the hose barb out of the reservoir...
