Building True Duals for LS1 Swapped IrocZ
Trying to plan out my true dual exhaust system on my ls1 swapped IrocZ, and I cant decide which mufflers to go with. The cars an 86 IrocZ with an H/C/I LS1. I'm looking for a set up that will still let me have a conversation without having to yell, and something wicked sounding. I wont be running dumps so hopefully running the exhaust out the back will help alittle. Already have my xpipe, just need some opinions on muffler choice. If anyone could comment on the in car volume of any of these Id appreciate it.
Borla ProXS; Top choice, but expensive
Dynomax Bullets; Priced great, but maybe too loud?
Single Chamber Flowmasters; Second choice maybe, but have been told they don't flow well?
Magnaflow; Not sure if I'm sold on the sound, but haven't heard many on a H/C/I car.
Others?
Borla ProXS;

bad *** car i love the irocs, glad u dropped an LS in it
the flowmaster single chambers flow fine....but they are going to be near as loud as the bullets.
The Borla XS is my favorite personal muffler, because it can keep the loudness down to a nice mean rumble, but is also the most expensive choice up there....by far.
Im doing magnaflow 4 inch rounds out the back, mine wont be done for a while, but i've heard it on a H/C LS1 n it was gnarly sounding for sure.
Also theres a guy on here(forgot his name) but he has a build H/C/I 402, and magnaflows out the back tammed the sound down alot

Broke down last night and decided on the Borlas. Figured it be cheaper and less work in the long run. That car does sound sick though, thanks for the suggestion. Believe his user name is Mr. Luos.
