TSP catted y to non-TSP headers?

TSP catted y to non-TSP headers? From what I understand, the TSP headers do not have provisions for AIR. Since I need to keep AIR and cats, can I use their catted y, with a different set of headers (thinking about coated Hookers). Has anyone had experience with this?
