Also give Keith McCord's power plate a look.

I've had both the QTEC & the McCord MPP2 on my car, the QTEC fell apart after about 8 months. (electric motor just fell off and was being dragged down the road)

I have now had a McCord MPP2 on my car for over a year with no problems, and they're cheaper as well. Plus, Keith went out of his way to help me fix the broken cutout and specially wired one of his plates up so that I could continue to use the existing wiring off of the broken QTP cutout. Very cool guy, and great customer service! Here are a couple of links:

Try corvetteforum.com, a ton of guys have them. They mount them right before the over-axle pipe section (there is a 2 bolt flange right there - BEFORE that).

Oh yeah, and another vote for McCord. Awesome setup, cheap, and best customer service of anywhere (2nd would be thunder racing).
