Default Fan switch

I have searched a fair bit on this but i am still confused.

http://shbox.com/1/fan_sw_diagram2.jpg

that is the diagram I am trying to follow, but will this setup throw SES light?

Also I bought a DPDT switch, and i dont understand how the diagram matches up to my switch
where (2,5) are under the off location and the others are under the on location.

3|2|1
6|5|4

The only resistors i could find at the source were 1w 100 and 33ohm i believe. There was also 1/4 w resistors, but no 1/2. I do not understand the resistor thing so was unsure if the 1w ones would work or not.

Am i connecting the high speed wire to 1 and a ground to 4?
low speed wire to 3 and a ground the 6?
what about 2 and 5?

The switch has 15a 125vac and 10a 250 vac on the side if that makes any difference.
Im quite lost at this so if someone could help out it would be greatly appreciated.

I think I have a better grasp on this now. Im connecting the blue wire to 2, green wire to 5, and a ground to 3,6,4.

Now for the resistors can anyone better explain them, and ive read it would be better to run 2 watt for the high side is this true? I do not understand the parallel either, how does that look?

yah i had saw the writeup, but he doesnt use resistors where shbow does. Shbox diagram has resistors to prevent the pcm from seeing the ground when it shouldnt be, have you had issues with codes being set off and SES lights?
