Default Ditching PCV

I have the LS6 valley cover and tried catch cans and still I get oil in my intake.

I am ditching the PCV for external breathers.

Any issues/concerns I will have in doing so? What are the benefits of a PCV system over a filter ventilation system? Will I get any codes? Emissions are not a concern. Is one enough where the oil filler cap is?

PCV will pull a vacuum of the crankcase, where open atmosphere systems will not draw a vacuum, but will let excess pressure leave the crankcase.

On a daily driver the oil builds up alot more acids & other harmfull polutant's that would be otherwise removed by the pcv.
The pcv pulls all the nasty crankcase vapors out, & helps keep the oil from breaking down quicker from all the blow-by .
Street car it's good, race car loose the pcv.
Either that or change the oil more often, & by look & smell.....
