Firstly, most folks on here have motors with pushrods internal to their engines and therefore post in the internal section.

In addition to that, this question is asked on an hourly basis. It has been answered hundreds of times. You need to search for ls7 lifter preload...someone may come feed the info to you like a baby bird...but you should just read.

Sorry if this sounds rough, but the info is here and asking (especially in the wrong forum) comes off as lazy. That is why no one is answering you.

Again, not trying to be mean, just letting you know.

Sorry to offend.. I have search and read and it still isnt black and white. when you put 7k+ into a motor you want to make sure before making a costly mistake buy install pushrods that are to long....but if there is someone wishing to help and not criticive i would be greatly appreciated

measure, and add .020~ .060 for preload... order a pushrod to match
your valvetrain will be nice and quiet...unless you have a big cam slamming valves shut like mine.. then its still going to sound like a sewing machine of doom no matter what you do.

sounds like you really need a 7.500 pushrod... which is what Texas speed will tell you when you buy their prc heads after talking to them on the phone.
