Default SLP Stuff

I bought a 01 SS (waiting on the shipping company) and it has an slp smooth bellow and slp 85mm maf, but the owner is giving me the stock parts as well, is the slp stuff worth it or should I put the stock stuff back on?
and yea I searched but all i really say is no its not worth it ect, but why isnt it?

If its on there, I wouldn't change it out. I still have SLP products on my car after the H/C swap.

kind of what I was thinking, but just wondering is there a drawback to the stuff (besides the prices)?

I would say prices alone. I've never seen anything bad about it though, or a reason not to buy. You could put your factory stuff back on and possibly get some money from the stuff, but I think it would benefit you don the road if you plan to mod..

The slp maf is a joke and a tuning nightmare. It's no better than the stuff you see on ebay claiming 25hp for 20 bucks. It's simply a descreened truck maf with a resistor soldered into the ait wire.

If it's running fine, leave it. But down the road if you plan on heads/cam, it will get in your tuneer's way.
