Question Catted Y or ORY?

I had heard recently that using a catted Y could violate the warranty, which I want to stay away from, and SLP offers a Y-Pipe that hooks right up to the stock cats. It can be found here: http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=31035
Does anyone have this part installed? If so, how do you like it? Also, does a catted Y violate the warranty to begin with? Any suggestions if not?

Thanks for any info,
Ron

replacing cats is a violation of state emmision laws. Replacing Y-pipe by itself will not violate the warranty. However, it does depend on the dealer. Some will have no problem and some will.

Go ahead and replace it....99% of the dealers will not notice it....

Personally, I wouldn't waste your money on it, but that's just me. I don't think you'd see any difference at all, no matter what SLP says.

Thanks for the info guys, and yeah, I'm still thinking about it, haven't made up my mind yet.
