Default Performance Exhaust Setup ideas, personal experience?

I was wondering what a good exhaust setup would be that sounds fierce and loud like slp loudmouths but are made of a x pipe unlike the slp which are y pipes, and which flow good like magnaflows. I'm not really into the sound of magnaflows though, they are too quiet and sound kind of wimpy when you rev them compared to the loudmouths which sound very fierce (going by what I have heard on youtube), My price range is under $600, I want to eventually put headers and a cam on when I get the money. I have a stock 2000 trans am.

Love my TSP duals! If you're willing to sacrifice some ground clearance

If you want loud get some custom true duals with some dynomax bullets. Just remember with no cats and bullets it will be loud. Really loud. Duals off of stock cats and manifolds won't be to obnoxious I wouldn't think. I know some of the LT guys run the summit universal x pipe kits and they work good. I'm just not sure about on a LS because of the angle of the driver side header but with minor modification I'm sure it would work. That kit is around 110 bucks and bullets are around 45 bucks each. I would say you could build some duals for around 300-350.

If I had the money i'd go with true duals, but i don't right now. If you like really loud and raw then you would like my setup (in sig) but if you don't like rasp then you would hate it lol
