So I currently have the SLP LM1 exhaust and kind of getting tired of how loud it is I was wondering if I could just order a hooker aero chamber muffler and put that on the end of the 3" intermediate pipe that came with the LM1, just like the hooker catback and make my own tails pipes or would the muffler be hitting something being that the Ipipe belongs to the SLP LM1 exhaust. Any input or ideas would be great.

Only options you have are to replace the resonator with either a Magnaflow 14419 or a Borla 40085. The Magnaflow is a 4" case and tucks nicer than the Borla's 5" case, but they both sound leaps and BOUNDS better than the resonator.

Does anybody have a vid of a magnaflow 14419 in place of the resonator, or does anybody know if it gets a lot quieter with this.

Magnamouth sounds the best,borla mouth sounds pretty good as well,when i had mine i always wanted to add 2 lil bullets before the tips like the powerflow conversion,imo the lm1s sound great on a stock car but once internals are done they sound like crap,best setup for having the best of both worlds is a magnaflow catback n cutout,or if ya like to be louder a gmmg with high flow cats n magnaflow bullet sounds killer,

My set-up before I went to duals


Completely transformed the cars sound. Added a lot of bass and "tone". The rawness just disappeared. This is pre-heads and cam.
