Default Flow and power... True duals VS Y & catback?

How much of a power difference is there really between a good flowing catback and true duals with a X pipe and good muffs? Im getting tired of my true duals with the loudness, lack of clearence, interior resonance. Dont get me wrong, I get compliments everywhere I go, but everytime I drive it, it gives me a headache.

Im looking to go to the Kooks ORY and the Hooker catback...

i've seen people only gain 2hp going from a good cat back to dual cutouts which is essentally the same thing as True Duals...

if it gives u a headache toss it... even if u lose 5-10hp... its worth it to enjoy driving your car...

and hooker catback is bad ***

Depends what kind of power you are putting out really. I think a 3" y-pipe into a 4" I-pipe and a good flowing cat-back would be sufficient. Maybe put dual cutouts in the y-pipe for when you are feeling crazy.

From other posts I have seen, the peak #'s dont change much at all maybe ~5 HP. Its the power/torque under the curve where duals really outperform a catback and y-pipe setup.
