Default 706 or 241 ???

What would be better on a carb 5.3 ? Cam only..mabe a little nos

your gonna lose compression with the 241's compared to the 706's. If you have money to spend you can get bigger valves on the 706's and have them ported or port them yourself. You can always use the 241's since they flow better and have them milled to try to match the compression of the 706's. Both sides have their flaws lower compression or bad flow. Nitrous and compression work well together, but so does better flowing heads with a cam. If nos is just a maybe then mill the 241's check the ptv and have fun.
