i have a new tsp engine in my car. how woud i go about port matching the intake to the heads while the heads are on the motor in the car? i feel like this question mat be alittle dumb.

You won't, the heads need to be off along with the intake. This is something I would elave the professionals out there. Most of the time people trying to get better flow out of their heads by port matching, porting etc cause more damage and hurt performance more that what they started with.
