Default Maf, lid setup question

So i have completely redone my current setup. I am now to the maf and lid part of the car. I am curious what everyone has to say on this. Currently it is a stock lid, stock maf. This is pretty much the last part of the car that I am going to mess with before I put my nitrous on and purchase a 9" rearend. My question is what is the best setup to go with? Should I just do a 98mm lid and a 100mm maf? Or should I do a 102mm lid? My mod list is as follows just copied and pasted it.

98-02 LS1 FAST LSX Intake Port Seal Kit (Set of 8)
98-02 LS1 Nick Williams 92mm Throttle Body

Tuners all seem to say 102maf is harder to tune with no benefits. Im running ftp102 and tsp 102maf. Lid rubs an ss hood, but I keep a zaino towel there and it still closes fine. My tune is fine, but I have an outstanding tuner.

I have heard its harder to tune out. I guess I am just trying to figure out if there is any real gain to be had from the larger 102mm lid over the 98mm and maf doesnt look like there are many options really I think 100mm is what ill go with on this car.
