Default Quick Cut-out Question

I have a cutout installed under the passenger seat on my car. It's not pointed straight down due to clearance issues. I need to make a 2 hour trip tomorrow, and I don't have the cap for it. I had an electric plate on it, but it was snagged on a large manhole cover. Will I be ok on the trip, or is the exhaust too hot hitting the bottom of the car? Sorry if it's a stupid question. Just parranoid.

I think you should be alright I have ran an open cutout about 2 hours and had no problem. But my cutout is on the rear of the car.

The trip is 2 hours one way. Granted I will be doing probably 75mph the entire way so there should be plenty of airflow under the car.

Mine is under the rear passenger seat. I have a QTEC and I leave it open on the highway to improve mileage. I have had no problems other than soot on the underbody.
