Default FINALLY got a Borla

It was used but it was a damn good deal. So I'm getting rid of the Flowmaster and putting it in. BUT, This set up was custom made and the guy ran 12.6 with just the exhaust, 3200 stall, lid and ET streets. What I'm wondering is the pipes after the the muffler (outlet) are 2 1/2. Right now I have 3' going out. Would it be better to just leave the set up as it is?? Or put the 3' outlet that I have. I've heard things about back pressure and I want to gain power. I KNOW I'll be gaining with this Borla. The flowmaster I have was all corroded and rusted out from the inside. It also sounds like a damn 6 cylinder. I can't wait until I put in the SSF3500 and 3.42s Hopefully I'll be hitting mid to low 12s.
