Default 5.3 to 5.7 safely

I have a 5.3 iron block that I want to do a build with . Can u go from a 96mm to 99mm an it be reliable an have longevity . It will be for a crew cab Chevy that is an everyday driver not at the track every weekend . Just a little play time is all it will see.Just tryin to use a 5.7 383 stroke kit is all .

Yes you can safely bore a 5.3L out to a 3.903'' - 3.905'' and run a 4" stroke crank to make a 383ci.
