Default Reuse C5 Mods on CTS-V?

Hello Everyone,

I might be trading for a 2005 CTS-V with the LS6. My questions is. I have parts I never installed on my 2001 Corvette.

I want to know if these will work on the Caddy and will it make more power.

The Caddy already has intake, headers and exhaust. The parts I have are as follows.

1. Power Bond under drive pullies
2. Stage 2 243's milled from Texas speed.
3. Torison Rocker mod.
4. Melling Oil Pump
5. Custom Cam from Pat G was spec'd for my Vette to keep stock converter and make great low and mid power. Specs are 222/226 .597”/.605” 114LSA +4 advance.
6. Pushrods trick flow.
7. Head Studs.
8. Ls7 lifters.
9. Gaskets and fluids.

Also motor has 125k miles. So when doing the cam swap what else would you replace because of the miles? Water pump and timing belt of course?

I ask all this because I know the LS6 already has 243 heads and a larger Cam than the ls1 I bought the parts for. So will my parts not be much of a upgrade? I am hoping it will get me 50-75whp more to make it worth wild.

Bump. I am bumped to be able to keep a LS car. I also have a 9 second turbo Mustang. But the LS just is fun and snappy in my vette.

You would be better off asking this question in the CTS - V section of this forum. This section is kind of dead

The oil pump and head stuff will work, the accessories will not.

The V uses a unique drive offset that is different from the C5. You'll need to order Gen1 V Specific pulleys.
