Default AIR removal

I'm planning on Deleting my AIR injection this week, is the little control module (think it's called a cutoff)attached to the intake manifold normal open or closed on the vacuum line? If I just unplug the electrical input and leave the line connected to the back of the manifold would it close the system or leave a vacuum leak? If vacuum leak what do people normally plug the vacuum line with?

Just pull it out...I think you are talking about the diverter valve. That vacuum line goes to a fitting behind the intake manifold, pull the line off and install a vacuum cap where the line was.

Have the PCM tuned unless you want big daddy SES light in your face.

Does anyone have a pic of how the vacuum lines behind the manifold are ran? i know coming off the intake there is a small port and a large port. large going to break booster and small going to HVAC. I want to know where the vacuum line for the AIR system is attached

It's Tee'd into the hvac line so you would need to remove the T and use a 90 degree fitting or just cap the unused part of the T fitting
