LS2 W LS1 knock's and TSP 1-7/8 header clearance.
LS2 about to go into my 01 TA with TSP 1-7/8 LT's. I am planning on drilling the block in the factory LS2 knock sensor locations to install the LS1 knock sensors.
Can someone who has done this on their own car verify the LS1 knock sensors will clear the headers and all other parts when located in the stock LS2 sensor locations.

I'm in the same boat as you. I have an LS3 on a stand right now, getting it prepped to go back in the engine bay, and I want to drill/tap now before going into the engine bay for obvious reasons. I've heard the passenger side location will work, but I've read varying things about the driver's side....
So, anyone else able to shine some light on this?
