Default Fast 90 intake install problems..

I am installing my fast 90/90 last night and come across a problem. It would not set in the bolt areas like it should. The coolant passage lines were not letting it lay all the way down. Any one else have a similar problem and what did you do if so? I have pics showing what I'm talking about.

I don't think that coolant line will work with a fast intake. They set really tight to the valley cover. Also did u change the bolts to the lower profile ones? U will have to do that for sure.

Just run a front coolant crossover.

You either have to smash the crap out of that style line with a rubber hammer or switch to LS6 style tubes.

The ls6 style uses block offs on the rear for each corner and the front just has a tube connecting them with a line going back to the radiator.

I took my line like what you have and cut the rear blocks off with a hacksaw and flipped them over to create block offs. I then cut the tube that runs under the intake out, flattened the tube at the end with a hammer and soldered it up for good measure. I didn't have time to order the parts so I made it work.

I just pushed down on my line and it bent more than enough to make it fit properly.
