Default Improved Racing Thermostat and Kooks LT, Owners inside!

looking for a picture of the EGM-113 as seen in this thread.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/new-produ...s-engines.html

Try to gauge clearance to the kooks long 1 7/8 LT's as to whether I need a different pan and the env-102 or if I can get away with the EGM-113.

thanks in advanced guys, really any pics of this with LT's would be great.

I had a thread about this a while ago and the consensus was you need the remote one with long tubes

Isn't the EGM-113 designed to clear headers? Not a guarantee it will but I think that was the idea.

I was planning on doing the same thing on my C6Z, and I have kooks on both cars. It appears it will fit on the Z, haven't looked at the camaro in a while though.

Getting closer, those pics of the vet clearance are pretty good. I hear they have a few guys running this on fbody's but nobody can confirm if they fit with the kooks for sure.

I'm leaning towards most likely it will fit. The lines may take more time to figure out than the thermostat its self.

As mentioned, often times the lines are more of a restriction than the thermostat. So running -8AN lines instead of -10AN might help with clearance. Unfortunately we don't know for sure whether they work or not with Kooks LTs. I know the F-Bodys typically have less clearance than other platforms, but we do have a lot of customers using our adapters on them.
