Default Anybody know the thread pitch for FAST 102 MAP Hold Down?

I'm relocating my MAP to the front and can't find any of my leftover FAST crap. So I don't have the screws. They are pretty small, but was wondering if anyone knew what the thread pitch was for them?

Also, wish I had went this route before. I know I can clearance the firewall, but getting the intake out to get to the sensor is a pain in the *** if there are ever issues.

Now I've drilled out the rear hole... what's the best way to plug it?

m4 and 20mm long

I'm telling ya jake just do the hose arb in the back. i cant stand how it looks on the front lol. fwiw i gave myself about 8-10" of hose and can easily pull the map off if need be. plus you dont need to extend the wires

Too late. Ordered the stuff. Lol.

M4 20mm. Thanks!

I want to be able to easily access the MAP. I'm running SD, and even though it probably picks up better in the rear, if I have issues with the only sensor keeping the car idling, then I want to be able to get at it quick.

For the AN fitting on the rear, did you just grab a 3/8" AN and screw it in? I'm thinking that might be the best way to cap it. Haven't went to the store yet to look and see what they have.

I didn't use AN on the back just 1/8 npt. Its threads right in with a little persuasion just go to advance and get the plug with that thread instead of a hose barb. Advance near me had 2 different 1/8 threads one was npt and the other was something else. Get both and see which one fits because only 1 of them did for me.

Really a 1/8? I looked at the FAST instructions and I drilled it out 3/8. I guess the 1/8" NPT hose is equivalent to the 3/8" drill bit when I just looked at it.

no no lol wish i had pics.....you know how the back of the fast map hole is sunken in with a boss on the top? then to drill it out you use a 3/8 bitto finish the job off... the npt fitting I used threaded into the actual plastic boss part it never went into the hole you drilled for 3/8

this is a good example. right where the gold thread is , my npt fitting is threaded right into that top mounting boss and not all the way into the hole you had to drill

The screw was perfect.. the 1/8" NPT was too small. Going to try a 3/8" NPT and see... or maybe a 1/4".

Actually, I went ahead and bought a new MAP. The old one looked kinda bad. I may cut off the end of the old MAP connector and put some RTV around it and plug the hole with the grommet and then screw it in.

Or, I'll just throw some JB PlasticWeld on there and be good.
