Default B1001 code/Air Bag light

Hey fellas. Just finished up my EGR and AIR deletes on a stock 2K SS this weekend. Had a tuner kill the codes from the egr, but the next day started it up and the air bag light is on reading code B1001. Can't seem to figure out the connection between the two or what exactly happened to trip the code... Any thoughts?

Take it back to your tuner. The PCM needs to the have the correct VIN programmed. Your car doesn't. The B1001 is due to a VIN mismatch between various modules.

This thread is in the wrong section.

K4, welcome to LS1tech!

This is the external engine section. Head on over the the Camaro section and they'll take good care of you.

I know the title is misleading, just wanted to be sure the code didn't have anything to do with the egr. Thanks for the help
