Default Y-Pipe goes Bump Bump Help ??

Ok just installed the old style Pacesetters, the fit is not that bad and the O/Y pipe is tucked up close which I like but then there is the bumping issue. What are the some of best solutions, searching will give you options but what really works?
Thanks

Oh its bumping hard, I've used the heater hose to dampen the thump but thats only one solution. Would the drivers side ploy motor mount eliminate the problem altogether? I've looked for a good place to install a tie down strap but theres really not an ideal location for that. Someone wrote once about putting a valve spring under there somewhere but would it just bottom out and still thump? Just looking for options, maybe it will take a combination to eliminate the Bumpimg?

The motor mount is your best bet to actually stop the cause of the problem. A poly tranny mount will help a little more, but you get a lot more vibration from it. The heater hose and valve spring just cover up the problem.
