Default Have question concerning used ls6 intake

I bought a used ls6 intake #12561184 knowing it was previously damaged but repaired to working order. The area around the brake booster outlet was sealed with some epoxy looking substance. However on the the brake booster outlet is a hole with maybe some threads inside it and some silicone epoxy around it.

My question is what sensor goes into that hole? What is the other vacuum outlet for? And should the round appendage that all this stuff is a part of turn slightly and can it be removed? Attached picture with pointer indicating area in question. Thank you for anwsering.

the map sensor sits in there although its not threaded just pushed in with a grommet. Looks like someone tapped it for a fitting so they could remote mount the map. No big deal just do the same

Thanks will nm look into remote mounting the MAP sensor. Could anyone advise as to the small barbed fitting pointing towards the passenger side?
