Yea I was really surprised because the expected arrival date was over a month away still. I got it and was getting things ready for the install and googled for some information and seen your thread and the day you received it. I still haven't seen one installed on a car yet i can't even find a picture of one installed on the internet anywhere. You've gotta be one of the first to get it on and running. I ordered it through Jegs.

I'm sorry I lied, I just looked at what day I received it again and your original post that you got it the day before. I got it the exact same day, on March 26th. That's the date I took the picture of the manifold when it came.

^^ That is what i'm curious about also. I didn't know if it was just me having all these problems or if everyone is. The guy i'm dealing with from MSD talked to Speed Inc. and they are sending a new set of seals to be on the safe side and they're going to try again. If they can't get it going by the end of this week, the guy from MSD is going to be in Chicago this weekend anyways and wants to stop by on Monday and look at my car to see if he can see anything wrong that they're not seeing. So i guess MSD is at least trying to make things right, I just hope it doesn't take too much longer!

I believe you, I just find it very odd, and hard to believe, but I guess anything can happen. The first thing I did was take mine apart and look over everything since I knew it was a brand new to market intake. I guess the scientist in me makes me look over things with a fine tooth comb.

My local tuner has already managed to blow one of these intakes apart on just 9psi, a second one wasnt machined right and the bolts wouldnt go all the way through. both of them within a few hours of unpackaging turned from black to a faded grey color. pretty damn poor quality intake from what ive seen.

Not directly related to the cathedral stuff but the word from the sr MSD rep that I heard was that they are dropping the ls3 intake as during testing the could not provide a significant gain over the ls3 intake.....which makes some sense as the fast barely makes anything over a stock ls3
