Default screw in bellow

Everytime i dig into my 98z28 i find something new........i was at the track wondering why the shifting(a4) felt funny when i looked and saw that the maf had been descreened.........then yesterday i was cleaning out the tb when i saw that the bellow had something shiny in it.....it was the end of a screw.....the outside was sealed so i couldn't see it.......i know i've seen some pics of people putting nitrous in through the bellow, is it possible a previous owner had done this and filled the whole with a screw and sealent? the hole is only about maybe an eight of an inch in diameter....mostly i'm just asking out of curiousity.......maybe this should be in forced induction section, i don't know why else that hole would have been there.....
