I was going to buy long tubes for my car. Pacesetter raceing ones. They dont have egr or air hookup to them... I have a 99 z28 and i have egr. (not sure what the !air is though). I was wondering, if i block the egr off what will happen to the car? Should i just buy reg headers with egr available? What do you suggest?

P.S. What is it when people say... !AIR?

I have those same headers on my 98' Z & blocking off the EGR will set the SES light(service engine soon)... I ran mine for about 3-4 months with the EGR & AIR off with no problems; then I eventually had the codes deleted... To answer your other question; when someone uses the term !AIR, they're refering to the air pump & hoses... If you get these headers you will have to take that crap off which isn't difficult... Look on your manifolds & you will notice a hose that is bolted on to each one, those are your AIR hoses.
